This past August, THE COLLECTION Ferrari and Ferrari of Miami teamed up to participate in the Ferrari Drive & Dine to Strada in the Grove. The exciting event started at Ken Gorin’s location in Coral Gables, THE COLLECTION Ferrari, where guests enjoyed light refreshments. Ferrari enthusiasts admired the latest Ferrari models available at THE COLLECTION, and shared their common interest in the more than 70 year old Italian sports car manufacturer.

The Ferrari rally then moved to Strada in the Grove where clients’ names were displayed on tables held by miniature Ferrari models. There, clients enjoyed only the best Italian foods and continued conversation about their admiration of Ferrari. The Strada in the Grove owner and manager also happens to be an owner of a Ferrari, making this the perfect location to end this wonderful drive & dine event.

THE COLLECTION Hosts Ferrari Portofino Launch Event

Just two weeks after THE COLLECTION opened its door to their all new Ferrari dealership, they hosted the launch event for the brand-new Ferrari Portofino. On Thursday, April 26th, 2018, guests had the opportunity to join Ken Gorin at THE COLLECTION Ferrari and soon after at Ferrari of Miami for a celebration of the newest Ferrari launch. Guests who started at THE COLLECTION were escorted to the new location, Ferrari of Miami, by a police-led caravan to enjoy refreshments and see the new dealership. After the celebration, over thirty Ferraris took over Biscayne Boulevard as they traveled to the Rubell Family Collection for a private preview party of the all new Ferrari Portofino, hosted by Ferrari North America.

THE COLLECTION Launches the Jaguar E-Pace

THE COLLECTION’s showroom was turned into a Disco Wonderland on Friday, March 23rd as the new Jaguar E-Pace was unveiled to guests of the dealership. One of the newest members of the Jaguar lineup, the Jaguar E-Pace did not disappoint. Here at Ken Gorin’s THE COLLECTION, everything isn’t always look but don’t touch. In fact, guests were able to sit inside and experience the glimmering vehicle firsthand. For the guests who fell in love with this beauty, they were able to put their name on a list to get to test drive the Jaguar the following day. The Jaguar E-Pace was the center of attention for the entire night, with a sparkling disco ball hanging from above, setting the feel of the night.

The design of the Jaguar E-Pace is both powerful and family-friendly. Porsche is Worth its Weight in Gold

The highly anticipated Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series made its debut at THE COLLECTION dealership in Miami. Being one of Porsche’s sixteen Exclusive Manufaktur Dealers, THE COLLECTION was given the privilege of being among the first to unveil the posh Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series. Onlookers were able to get a first glimpse of this car with Ken Gorin, THE COLLECTION CEO.

This machine has 607 horsepower with a 0-60 time of 2.8 seconds with the Sport Chrono driving mode engaged. This car was built for exhilarating speed, topping out at 205 mph. Compared to the normal Turbo S cars, this series can go 0-124 mph in just 9.6 seconds shedding a whole 0.3 seconds off. Along with its extreme power and a peak torque output of 553lb-ft, the Turbo S Exclusive Series also comes built with Porsche’s PDK seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.

Every inch of this car is luxury, with SportDesign exterior mirror upper trims in carbon fiber—including carbon fiber window triangles. The inside is also equipped with an interior carbon fiber kit along with two stripes of Golden Yellow running across the cabin that match the headrest and headliner design. For those who want to stand out, the “exclusive” Golden Yellow Metallic paint will be the perfect exterior color choice and for those who are not as flashy, other select exterior colors will be available as well.

Exclusive on the McLaren Velocity 720s

Power and intensity–how else could you describe the McLaren Velocity 720s? McLaren aficionados were able to behold this machine in late October of 2017. Upon entering the McLaren showroom, enthusiasts were able to view its unique paint job which totaled 300 hours to complete. The upper and front panels are a Nerello Red which fades into a Volcano Red for the sides and back of the car.

This new McLaren is equipped with metallic bronze alloy wheels and a ton of carbon fiber. From the gloss carbon fiber rear deck vent to the gloss carbon fiber service cover, carbon and luxury are all over this machine. This model has a ton of power, clocking in at 710 horsepower and a 0-60mph time of 2.7 seconds. This McLaren has a top speed of 212 mph. The minds behind this vehicle truly engineered a masterpiece.

2018 Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo

The one-of-a-kind Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo is truly a Porsche in a league of its own. Not quite a hatchback, not quite a sedan, not quite a sport utility vehicle, the Sport Turismo exemplifies what it means to be unique. There are five models available: the Panamera 4 Sport Turismo, Panamera 4S Sport Turismo, Panamera 4 E-Hybrid Sport Turismo, Panamera Turbo Sport Turismo, and the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo. Once approved by Coral Gables Development Review Committee, an incredible showroom to house about 700 vehicles in seven stories will be constructed. This location would replace what is currently THE COLLECTION’s pre-owned dealership, which will reopen down the road. In Palmetto Bay, residents will be pleased to know we are planning to open an Audi dealership right in their neighborhood.

Aston Martin DB11 Test Drive Event

On Saturday, December 2, 2017, THE COLLECTION Aston Martin, collaborated with Jet Smarter and Toys for Boys Magazine, for a showing of the 2019 Aston Martin DB11 Volante. Bazaar Mar by Jose Andres hosted guests for a state of the art experience.

Guests enjoyed the extravagantly lit downtown Miami with gourmet cuisine and stunning night life. Upon arrival, they were welcomed by the all-new Aston Martin DB11 Volante as well as a DB11 V8 and a DV11 V12.

Guests could test drive the DB11 Coupes through the posh streets of Downtown Miami with a Product Specialist as their passenger, who showed them the features of these extraordinary vehicles. After the test drive experience, guests were greeted inside by the sweet sounds of a live violinist, canapes and Rose provided by Villa Riviera. The sneak peak of the coveted DB Volante with the added thrill of open-top driving was a fantastic way to spend a Saturday.
